Job Overview:

Inspectors are responsible for inspecting systems, job sites and materials to ensure the work meets quality standards, codes, and design. Responsible for timely reporting and tracking of potential problems.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Attend pre-planning meetings
  • Evaluate plans and specifications to ensure conformance with regulations
  • Conduct field inspections of site and materials
  • Report violations to appropriate supervisor
  • Maintain inspection records and documentation
  • All other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:

Work conducted in a standard office environment with the potential to work outdoors at job sites. Often exposed to sounds and noise levels from equipment that are distracting and uncomfortable. Required to wear protective equipment when working at outdoor constructing sites.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: HS diploma or equivalent

Experience: a minimum of 10 years' experience in construction related to OSP Telecommunications Construction

Number and Type of Employees Supervised: n/a

Required Licenses or Certifications: Operator's License

Required Skills:
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
