CPA Tax Accountant

Kalos Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth.

S Corporation Tax Consulting:

• Advise S Corporations on tax strategies, deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities.
• Review and recommend improvements to business operations to optimize tax efficiency.
• Provide guidance on matters related to S Corporation distributions, shareholder taxation, and income allocations.
• Assist in understanding and navigating IRS regulations affecting S Corporations, including shareholder issues and the 1120S form filing process.
• Support in handling audits, appeals, and disputes with the IRS or state authorities.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Ideally 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the construction/trades industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
