As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in driving innovation and operational excellence. Our team operates on the belief that "DevOps owns nothingā. What Youāll Do š±āš»
Empower Others through Simplicity- Design and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure that minimizes complexity and cognitive load for contributors.
- Build and scale Kubernetes environments, ensuring ease of use and maintainability for future stakeholders.
- Pioneer AWS architecture with a focus on IAM best practices and security-first solutions, while mentoring others to contribute with confidence.
- Drive seamless cloud migrations or mergers, ensuring all teams can easily build on your groundwork.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans that instill confidence across teams and stakeholders.
- Embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines, fostering a security mindset across the organization.
- Build tools and systems that serve future maintainers, ensuring they are intuitive, well-documented, and reliable.
- Leverage Datadog best practices to create observability frameworks that help everyone monitor and optimize our systems with ease.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver thoughtful, scalable solutions while mentoring and supporting team members.
- Encourage exploration and celebrate creativity in solving technical challenges.
Who You Are š±āš»
- Must Haves:
- 5+ years in DevOps with expertise in extensive AWS cloud-first architecture.
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, including IAM, and proven ability to optimize cloud environments.
- Experience leading cloud environment migrations or mergers with minimal disruption.
- Expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security integration.
- Proficiency with Datadog for monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with compliance standards like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Background in cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud environments.

Base Compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000.
