We seek a part-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite position will be scheduled 32 hours per week and will float between our pharmacies in Cincinnati, Hamilton, and Amelia, OH as well as Florence and Covington, KY.

Pharmacy Locations: Cincinnati, Hamilton, Amelia, OH; Florence and Covington, KY

Hours: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, potential for rotating Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm. Position will be scheduled 32 hours per week. Must have availability during pharmacy hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use

  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Ohio

  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky

  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

  • Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Primary Qualifications:

  • Authorization to administer long acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

The hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
