Our client is looking to add a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to their team Our client is a leader in plastics manufacturing with a focus on high end performance plastics.

The 2nd shift Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment.

Qualified individuals will have industrial maintenance experience. Plastics experience preferred.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility"s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during and production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Performs simple machinist duties to assist in screw pulls, changeovers, etc.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of three (3) years experience in plastic compounding/
- Extruding facility as an operator with increasing maintenance duties
- Or three(3) years in a manufacturing plant in a capacity of a maintenance technician.
