Anesthesiologist

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our Kensington Medical Center.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

Eligible for up to $150,000.00 forgivable loan OR $150,000.00 in student loan repayment as a new hire incentive

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the complexities of multiple insurers or fee-for-service. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

• Case Mix: Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT, Bread & Butter Pediatrics, Spine, OB, endoscopy, EP. No open hearts or Neurosurgery
• To work on average 40-45 hours a week (annual salary based strictly on a 40-hour work week. Option to work more for extra pay or time off)
• Guaranteed post-call paid day off (no personal leave used)
• Minimal CRNA supervision

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesia
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

The starting annual salary for this position is $450,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
