Adult Education Instructor - Part Time/Evening
Home Health Aide Instructor
SALARY: $35- $45 per hour (depending on experience)

LOCATION(S): Adult Learning Institute

DUTIES: Use required curriculum to plan lessons to teach adult HHA students and oversee Clinical/Laboratory expereinces. Complete all appropriate paperwork necessary for certifying student success on required skills.
Perform related duties as required, including tracking student attendance/hours (clinical and theory), test proctoring, and collaboration with other teachers/staff assigned to the Health Occupations Academy at ALI.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current NYS RN License, NYS Teacher Certification (or eligibility for) in Adult Education.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's degree preferred). Strong clinical skills with 3 - 5 years' experience in the Nursing Field, At least one year must be in the provision of home health care services, overseeing and training Home Health Care Aides. Nurse instructor must be eligible for adult education teacher certification or have another recognized teacher certification is required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
