Job Description

Join us this season Utz Quality Foods is offering seasonal employment opportunities in our Customer Care Department in Hanover, PA. The Customer Care Representative is primarily responsible to interact with customers via the phone to resolve customer-related issues such as complaints, compliments and replacement of products by providing high quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responds to customers' requests via telephone or mail/e-mail when necessary.
  • Receives customers' requests by telephone or mail, analyzes requests, provides information requested or ascertains who best can provide the information, and routes the request to the proper person.
  • Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
  • Answers mail order phone lines, enters orders, samples and donations into system. Resolves customer questions related to orders.
  • Answers Direct Store Delivery (DSD) phone line and enters orders in the AS400 system. Resolves customer questions related to orders.
  • Mails samples, price quotations and similar data to customer as required.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in a customer service role/call center is preferred.
  • Basic typing and computer experience.
  • Friendly phone communication and listening skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
