They are now seeking a Senior Estimator to join their skilled team. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Pay: Starting at $70,000
  • Commission and Additional Compensation: Yes

Position Overview:
The Senior Large Loss Estimator will develop competitive, precise estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial restoration projects. This role requires expertise in Xactimate software, knowledge of building codes, and strong project management skills to ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline. Additionally, the Senior Estimator will meet directly with clients, provide regular updates, and drive successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create highly accurate scopes, floor plans, and multi-level/roof sketches using Xactimate Sketch.
  • Utilize knowledge of building codes to develop thorough estimates and address any overages as they arise.
  • Adhere to our client's naming conventions for estimates, proposals, change orders, and other documents.
  • Maintain and update construction schedules, coordinating with trades and management to complete projects on time.
  • Apply best practices in source removal, decontamination, containment, and deodorization techniques.
  • Execute investigative and controlled demolition, along with decontamination and deodorization services.
  • Participate in continued training, including Xactimate training, to pass Estimator User Certification exams.
  • Manage your workflow independently and ensure all accident, injury, and incident forms are completed promptly.
  • Perform vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, keeping vehicles in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Xactimate and understanding of local building codes.
  • Skilled in creating accurate, competitive estimates with minimal deviations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot on-site.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for client interaction and internal reporting.
  • Willing to participate in ongoing training to support professional growth and improve company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction or restoration estimating.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate software and the ability to create detailed floor plans and estimates.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work effectively with trades, clients, and management.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform on-site assessments and inspections.
  • Manual dexterity for equipment use and vehicle operation.
  • Capability to lift to 40 lbs as needed and work in various job site conditions.
