Keep reading… Essential Functions for an Infusion Center RN: Deliver high-quality professional nursing care to all types of infusion patients including immunology, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology/hematology, and other disciplines. Administer on an outpatient basis infusion therapies, monitor vital signs, change dressings, utilize electronic health records, and tend to patient needs in an efficient, but compassionate manner. Coordinate patient care and demonstrate teamwork with numerous other departments and healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes. Appropriately provide education and support to patients and their families. Minimum Requirements: Education: RN with strong clinical background required. Licensure/certification: BLS certification (American Heart Association required); ACLS certification; Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification preferred. Previous Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years RN experience in infusion services. Must possess excellent IV skills. Experience working in a team with other nurses and healthcare providers. Respect and protect patient privacy. Uphold professionalism in the workplace.
