Location & Overview: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a part-time or full-time Child Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for an outpatient position. The position is based in our mental health clinic located in Yonkers, New York. The schedule may be flexible for the right person. Work may also be both in person and virtual. About WJCS: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester, NY. We deliver psychiatric treatment through four main clinics located in the Hartsdale, Yonkers, Mt. Vernon, and Peekskill communities of Westchester. In addition, WJCS has over 80 clinical programs that provide a wide range of supportive community services to more than 20,000 adults, children, and families each year. We work collaboratively with a full multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, social workers, residential managers, home health aides, and peer support specialists. Our collective mission is to strengthen communities by helping people of all ages and backgrounds overcome emotional, cognitive, physical, and social challenges. Job Highlights: Fantastic opportunity to join the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester. Candidates may be board certified or eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. 100% outpatient treating mainly children and adolescents along with some adults when necessary. Being bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required. Collaborate with a full multidisciplinary team including MDs, APRNs, LPNs, PhDs, and LCSWs. Full nursing support with LPNs completing all prior authorizations, keeping lab results up to date in charts, administering injectable medications, obtaining outside medical records, and coordinating refill requests so you can focus on patient care. What WJCS has to offer you: Compensation: $140-$151/hour ($255k-$275k/year if hired full-time) Generous PTO, including 4 weeks’ vacation, 12 sick days, 1 personal day and up to 15 paid holidays.
