[ [ACCOUNTABILITIES [ [The Assembly Production Technician has the responsibility to perform the necessary tasks involved in the process of assembling components required to manufacture dressed axle front/rear heavy-duty drive axles. ]{arial=""} ]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{arial=""} ]{new="" roman="" times=""} You must have been a PEAK employee for at least 90 days, with no more than 3 attendance points and no performance issues. Use precision measuring instruments such as torque wrenches, calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers to determine adherence of product characteristics to prescribed specifications. Ensure operation of machinery is performed in accordance with established procedures, for the safety of the individual, and all employees. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality systems. Identify and record any product, process, and quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected as defined by applicable procedures and/or delegation of the area manufacturing manager. Perform rework and repair operations on nonconforming material. Perform equipment preventative maintenance. Perform safety and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe working environment. Participate actively in the team to achieve team goals.
