System One is partnering with a company in the Fayetteville, AR area for a Litigation Legal Secretary. This position will be onsite in Fayetteville (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Summary: This Legal Secretary position will provide civil litigation support to partners and associates of the firm. Duties and Responsibilities: Familiarity with basic pleadings, service of process requirements, and discovery Drafting of basic pleadings and other legal documents Process state and federal court filings; knowledge of electronic filing requirements Review, organize and index documents Draft, file and monitor documents in electronic case sites Maintain and organize documents in document management system Oversight of attorneys’ billing (including time entry, editing and invoicing) Use Outlook to docket crucial litigation deadlines Establish and manage new client files Perform clerical tasks (including drafting letters, memos, emails and other correspondence) Prepare and submit check requests, expenses reports, etc. Essential Skills: Software Proficiencies Microsoft Office Adobe iManage (or similar document management system) Elite 3E (or similar legal billing software) Legal Civil litigation experience is required Employment law experience is preferred eBilling and law firm billing procedures Knowledge of state and federal filing rules and procedures Technical Edit and proofread documents Quick and accurate typing Document/file organization in a document management system Ability to learn new and/or updated technology with ease Soft Skills Attention to detail Multi-tasking and prioritizing simultaneous demands from several individuals Effectively communicate with others (both orally and in writing) Reliable, punctual and good attendance Qualifications: At least 4 years of litigation experience Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
