IT Operations EngineerLooking for an IT Operations Engineer for a manufacturing companyYour new company A smart equipment manufacturer that provides intelligent solutions for semiconductor industries and more. Your new role Install new computer hardware such as servers, workstations, storage devices, and networking equipmentMonitor network performance to ensure that it meets business objectivesPerform disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.Coordinate with other IT staff to ensure smooth operation of computer networks and applications.Perform system administration tasks such as installing operating systems and software applications on computersConfigure computers for optimal performance by installing applications, updating system settings, and troubleshooting problems.Maintain computer networks by troubleshooting software and hardware problems.Manage security by installing operating systems patches and updates, configuring firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and reviewing logs for signs of unauthorised activity.Provide technical support for computer systems by troubleshooting problems and recommending solutions.What you'll need to succeed At least 3 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar roleProficient in Windows and Linux operating systems and software applicationsKnowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, etc.Experience with network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.Fluent in Mandarin and EnglishWhat you'll get in return Competitive salary package depending on experience and qualifications.Training and development opportunities.
