Responsibilities

Admitting Interviewer - Outreach Lab performs advanced clerical duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a competent level of organizational skills with the ability of handling highly sensitive and confidential information. You’ll assist in obtaining and verifying insurance information, while interviewing patients to collect and verify the required data for registration purposes.

You will be someone who can multi-task and use critical thinking skills for problem solving in a high demanding environment. Someone that delivers a friendly and efficient customer service to all patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Interview patients to collect and verify required data for registration
  • Obtain insurance documentation, proper handling of highly sensitive and confidential information such as transport files, test orders and reporting of test results
  • Perform data entry of test requests, test information to ensure information recorded is complete and accurate in a timely manner
  • Strong critical thinking skills, and efficient customer service
  • Demonstrated a high level of organizational skills in a fast pace environment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/ GED. Data entry experience. Highly Preferred: Strong working knowledge in EPIC Health System with a focus in customer service, and patient registration background in a fast pace environment.
