JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Analyst, IT (Service Desk) FLSA STATUS: Exempt REPORTS TO: Manager, IT (Service Desk) SUMMARY This is a technical/administrative position responsible for the Site Infrastructure Support. Primarily focused on PC technical support through Service Desk methods and assisting with basic network and department tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Under the general supervision is responsible for the following tasks - locally, as well as remotely: Provides PC/Laptop/Printer support, and occasional basic Network connectivity technical support and repair as needed. Understanding and use of a ticket system (ServiceNow) Above average communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate directly with end -users Configure new PCs for deployment Service desk skills using a ticketing system Provides software and account technical support and repair as needed. Assists in corporate hardware and software inventory Assists in the recordkeeping of software licenses and an accurate media inventory Network cable installation and maintenance Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A minimum of three year experience at a medium/large corporation with a working knowledge of Windows 10, Activie Directory, PC imaging/troubleshooting, Service Desk ticketing system, and basic networking. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices. Work independently to achieve results. A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional Score of 20 on the cognitive portion). TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS This position typically does require up to 10% travel.
