Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's/University degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in data-focused initiatives in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures.
  • Must have very strong MS Excel skills for data analysis, data mining and reporting.
  • Experience working with Database, Reporting/Analytics.
  • Understanding of financial products, especially Repos/Reverse Repos and securities financing transaction products.
  • Experience using Jira.
  • Accustomed to working very volumes of data (millions of lines of data) in enterprise environments.
  • Experience optimizing data.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills working with various technical and non-technical teams and levels of the organization to remediate data issues, UAT and get signoff.
  • Data and results oriented with excellent attention to detail.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree.
  • Strongly prefer experience with Capital Markets, Rates products.
  • Experience with Python.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Leadership within Data Analyst team involved in data quality initiatives spanning global functions, inclusive of regulatory and other deliverables.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop, test, implement and maintain data quality rules covering the trade life cycle across Markets Data.
  • Analyze data quality exceptions to identify root cause and business impact for data quality issues raised.
  • Enhance data quality process automation, governance, and reporting.
  • Prepare and present written and verbal updates to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices supporting the company's program, project, and data management standards.
