What to Expect:

We're looking for a Dental Assistant to join our high-quality, growing, modern and relaxed office atmosphere As a Dental Assistant, expect to provide first-class customer service to our dental practice clients, maintain a clean and organized work environment, have high energy, and a passion for providing excellent customer care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and provide Dentist with necessary instruments / materials during dental procedures, patient assessments, x-rays, etc.
  • Prep treatment rooms for incoming patients.
  • Ensure patient comfort by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Perform basic dental laboratory tasks.
  • Educate patient on post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage dental supply and equipment inventory.
  • Understand and adhere to safety protocols such as infection control.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Completion of dental assisting program from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), credential from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), and any required state-specific licenses or registrations.
  • Proven experience in a hand-on clinical environment, demonstrating proficiency in assisting with dental procedures and managing patient care.
  • 1+ year of experience in a dental practice or relevant firm.
  • Proven experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Proven experience working with patients and maintaining a welcoming and polished work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
