Responsibilities

This position is 40 hours per week-Wednesday-Saturday.  Time will be split between the two positions as needed

The Dishwasher’s duties include washing soiled plates and glassware thoroughly as well as maintain the overall cleanliness of the back of the house. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed. To be successful as a Dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills, and can multi-task. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities - Dishwasher

  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
  • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Unloading and storing deliveries if necessary.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
  • Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
  • Plus other work related tasks as needed

Duties and Responsibilities -Porter

  • Daily rounds surveying outdoor grounds picking up any litter or light debrief
  • Straightening pool furniture daily
  • Spot cleaning windows/doors as needed
  • Light painting of trim or fixtures
  • Sweeping/hosing down porches as needed
  • Replacing lightbulb that do not require climbing higher than 6’ on a ladder
  • Wiping off pool deck tables if excessively dirty by pollen or food debrief
  • Assisting management in light labor special tasks ex: opening boxes of new club decorations or equipment and disposing of any package materials
  • Assisting in installing and removing event and/or holiday decoration
  • Moping banquet hall floor if needed between functions/between daily cleaners visits.
  • Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Atleast two years related experience

Must be able to speak and understand English

• Minimal work experience.• Strong problem solving and communication skills.• Exceptional time management skills.• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds.• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits:

$17.00   to $18.00, depending on education and experience.
