Technology Repair Technician

Part Time, entry level position for set-up, maintenance, and repair of the school district's technology equipment and software. Assists other technology department members with various technology support tasks, as needed. This position is up to 29.5 hours a week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technology-related troubleshooting and repair for school district devices.
  • Complete tasks and special projects, including but not limited to: device distributions, collections, network troubleshooting, hardware/software installations, and operating system upgrades.
  • Determine and resolve basic end-user computing issues.
  • Problem-solve and rectify basic hardware and software issues.
  • Inform Supervisor and/or the Director of necessary purchases/order relating to technology device repairs.
  • Maintain familiarity with Mac, Windows, Chrome and other applicable operating systems along with district hardware and software programs.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, with technology training and/or coursework
  • PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification - Act 24
  • PA State Police Criminal History Clearance - Act 34
  • Federal Criminal History Clearance - Act 114
  • Child Abuse Clearance - Act 151
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release - Act 168
  • Tuberculosis Test/Physical
