We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. As an ER Registered Nurse (RN) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes.   • The location is in Chico, CA
  • The working schedule for this role is varied shift schedule, 12-hrs, varied start time
  • Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions are required to float as needed
  • The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
  • The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
  • No holiday coverage required
  • Guaranteed hours: 36
  • EMR used: Epic
  • The pay: $88.06 Hourly ($2,340.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $3,170.00 Weekly = $12,680.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
  • Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
  • Recording patient vital signs and medical information
  • Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
  • Administering non-intravenous medications
  • Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
Qualifications:
  • Current and unencumbered California RN state licensure
  • Minimum 5+ years previous Emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher that includes Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI and STOKE
  • BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification
  • Current ENPC and TNCC certification
  • Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
  • Basic computer skills
  • Professional, friendly attitude
