Description: What You Will Be Doing

The candidate selected for this role will perform IT support for the F-22 Ground Systems team. IT Support may include but is not limited to: computer imaging, Redhat, linux troubleshooting, standing up development environments, setting up virtual machines, and troubleshooting network problems.

Other duties include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college.

Security+ or higher Certification

Experience with workstation/server administration on Redhat Linux and Solaris environments.

Desired Skills:

- F-22 IMIS Experience

- Experience with Aircraft Ground Support System Maintenance

- Experience building, operating, and maintaining operating system configurations with demonstrated technical knowledge

- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

- Experience developing and maintaining physical and virtual machines (Windows, Redhat or Solaris)

- Experience with LDAP and Active Directory

- Experience with administrative scripting using any scripting language.

- Ability to read and understand scripting/programming language

- VMware/ESXi configuration

- Familiarity with DOD security practices such as STIG compliance

- Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions

- Experience performing in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

- Demonstrated collaboration, including interpersonal and teaming skills

- Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional off-shift hours and travel

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
