Locums Radiology- Diagnostic/Interventional Physician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Radiology -Diagnostic/Interventional Physician to join our 289 bed facility in Margate,FL. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcareenvironment, providing diagnostic and interventional radiology services topatients. The physician will be responsible for interpreting a variety ofimaging studies and performing interventional procedures as needed.

Schedule

  • Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm EST
  • Minimum Number of Shifts: 1 Week per Month

Additional Information:
  • Daily Diagnostic Volume: 80-90 RVUs per shift
  • Clinician RVU Expectation: 10-12 RVUs per hour
  • Modality Split:
    • XR (X-Ray): 35-40%
    • CT: 35-40%
    • MR (Magnetic Resonance), US (Ultrasound), NM (Nuclear Medicine): 20-30%
  • Average Number of Cases per Radiologist, per Day: 100-120 studies
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Voice Recognition and PACS: Dolby Dictation System
Qualifications:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Experience in interventional radiology preferred.
  • Current licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Proficiency in voice recognition and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) platforms.
