Responsible for assisting the nurse in completion of patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient's developmental levels. Dayton Children's is home to the region's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center. The emergency department staff at Dayton Children's specializes in one thing: caring for critically ill and injured children-with two convenient locations, you can rest assured that no matter what the emergency, our team is ready to provide the highest quality care. Dayton Children's main campus emergency department includes 47 treatment rooms, with an average census of 200 patients per day.
