Technical Trainer

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding/training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however on-boarding/training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week during the current COVID-19 situation. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. On-site guidance regarding social distancing, PPE (wearing masks at all times), and proper hand-washing/sanitization procedures are followed.

Position Type: Full - Time 

Essential Functions:

• Develop and deliver end-user training on the functionality and features of various collaboration tools, such as SharePoint, Fusion, and Office365
• Work directly with customers to determine training needs
• Work closely with technical teams to learn and understand the functionally, features, and applicable tips and tricks to develop training support materials
• Design and develop high-quality training plans and materials including briefings, handouts, training handbooks, job aids, visual aids, training scenarios, and web-based tutorials
• Schedule, plan, and conduct training including one-on-one training, formal courses, workshops, and seminars utilizing varying training formats, i.e. instructor led, virtual demonstrations, computer lab sessions. Audiences will vary from 1 to over 300 participants with varying computer skills.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• 3 years of related classroom and/or training experience required
• Experience with SharePoint or a related IT collaboration tool required

Desired:

• Training experience within a DOD IT environment highly desired

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS or BA degree preferred.
