Sets up and assembles a variety of mechanical and electrical components/parts while using various hand tools to fabricate high-end pontoon boats. Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be installed and plans sequence of operations to be performed. Tasks include installation & troubleshooting of windshields, electronic & plumbing components, and motors -- to include Single Outboard, Twin Outboard and I/O Engines & Drives. Key Responsibilities: Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
