Missile Defense Systems Architecture Analyst - Secret Clearance Required

Join our team of experts at Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) in Huntsville, AL and support the Missile Defense Agency's TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Missile Defense System architecture trade studies and document findings as member of MDA Architecture Trades Group
  • Develop systems engineering artifacts related to Missile Defense System, including initial requirements documents and architecture requirements packages
  • Design alternative architecture concepts to address capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
  • Lead and coordinate development of architecture requirements, development, and analysis in support of Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs
  • Support MDA vision and strategies to provide support for the Warfighter, coordinating with various government entities, national labs, industry, and international partners
  • Work with Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief to develop trade study methodologies, measures, and deliverables
  • Participate in the Architecture Working Group, reviewing and commenting on work products developed by other Working Group members
  • Coordinate with MDA/CAD and external stakeholders as necessary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Science or Arts from accredited institution of higher learning
  • OR BA/BS with 20+ years of experience on complex DoD programs/projects
  • 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
  • Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of Missile Defense System and Command and Control networks
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimal guidance
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons and capabilities a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
