Fleet Logistics Specialist

As an integral member of the enterprise's growing logistics team based in Rogers, MN. The Fleet Logistics Specialist provides overall support to the team and is responsible for the daily dispatching of staff and equipment.
A Day in the Life
- Partners with Field Superintendents to identify material trucking needs.
- Schedules and manages material trucking solutions with both internal and external trucking vendors.
- Obtains necessary permits and licensing for heavy equipment and truck fleet. Maintains licenses, titles, and records.
- Verifies trucking vendors W-9 and Insurance Certificates are up-to-date and current, both annually and as new vendors are added.
- Manages IFTA reporting.
- Manages Fleet fuel credit card program.
- Works with field teams to secure project fueling needs
- Keeps supervisor informed of actions, written or verbal, which may affect the ability to successfully perform assignments or adversely affect Company operations.
- Other projects or duties as assigned by Management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Previous experience working in a construction, trucking, logistics, dispatch, or shop environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with all levels of management, employees, external vendors, and other business associates. Must clearly communicate directions and information.
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work onsite in a small team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask without compromising accuracy is critical.
- Ability to respond to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
- Working knowledge of Viewpoint Visa and HCSS software suite.

- Requires 8 to 10-hour hour workdays, Monday - Friday.

occasionally may encounter high noise levels, but hearing protection is provided/required.

essential functions of this job. Most often an office environment, however jobsite travel is required. Employee frequently works alone
and with others. Frequently exposed to variable work environments, including unique conditions outside a typical office environment.
Occasionally exposed to moving machinery, loud noises, odors, dust, pressurized equipment. Occasionally exposed to electrical
hazards. May be exposed to environmental conditions, and variable weather including rain, snow, wind, cold, and heat.
