Job Summary:
The Preserve at Meridian, a premier healthcare facility in Meridian, Mississippi, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with the supervision of nursing assistants. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires working on a 7pm-7am shift.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine nursing duties, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and providing wound care
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assist with the development and implementation of care plans for residents
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care for residents
- Supervise and provide guidance to nursing assistants
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to nursing practice
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required

Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Mississippi
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Ability to work 7pm-7am shift and every other weekend
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic health records system
