As a Pastry Lead Cook, you will supervise the pastry team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity in pastry preparation. You'll have the opportunity to create exquisite pastries for conferences and events, showcasing your culinary skills while putting your creativity to the test with delightful sweets and treats at our local market coffee shop. You will also provide live action stations for guests, allowing them to experience the magic of freshly prepared pastries right before their eyes. Additionally, you will participate in the creation of the annual gingerbread replica of the resort, bringing festive cheer to the holiday season.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Pastry Team: Lead and train the pastry staff in proper techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
  2. Creative Development: Innovate and create a diverse selection of pastries and desserts for various events and our coffee shop.
  3. Quality Control: Ensure that only the finest ingredients are used by conducting regular quality checks and sensory evaluations.
  4. Monitor Production Flow: Oversee pastry production, ensuring adherence to cost control and quality standards.
  5. Health Compliance: Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and adherence to health regulations.
  6. Daily Operations: Manage pastry kitchen setup, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness for efficient service.
