Our client is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Housekeeper for a large private residence in Beverly Hills, CA. This estate has a housekeeping team of 5 people.

Candidates MUST have housekeeping or laundry experience in a large, private home or estate, preferably working for a high profile family.

Candidates that are bilingual in English and Spanish are preferred.

Job Summary:
This key team member will be responsible for overall housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. This person will also be responsible for frequent laundry duties, including caring for all garments and linens on the estate, operating laundry equipment, working with outside vendors such as dry cleaners, etc.

Schedule: Full time, 10am - 6pm Sunday through Thursday (Fri, Sat off). 40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Detailed cleaning of the entire house, including bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and outdoor social areas
  • Turn down the beds in the evening and making beds in the morning
  • Properly handling antiques, dishes, china and other valuables while cleaning
  • Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous garments and laundry articles using l laundering equipment as required.
  • Inspect all garments and articles with highest level attention to detail
  • Sort and arrange laundry articles per specifications and wearer preferences
  • Maintain well organized closets
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years housekeeping or laundry experience in a large, private home or estate, preferably working for a high profile family.
  • Experience working around fine art and antiques
  • Experience operating laundering equipment is preferred
  • Fluent English speaking (strong English speaking skills required)
  • Fluent Spanish (bilingual) is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Comfortable working around pets
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Background checks will be performed for criminal and credit
  • Non disclosure/confidentiality agreement to be required prior to interview
