Schwarz Partners has an exciting opportunity available for a Jr. Systems Administrator in Carmel, IN As a Jr. Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the Sr. Systems Engineers to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies, including vSphere, Horizon, NSX, O365, Azure, and to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our IT environment.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support to other IT teams, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
  • Assist in the administration of servers, storage, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
  • Resolution of service desk tickets.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
