Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Health-related education or certification
Experience / Qualifications
  • Previous experience related experience preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS for Heath Care Providers
Position Summary

The Radiology Tech Assistant performs specific tasks supporting the delivery of patient care in the assigned area. Works under the direction of a Registered Technologist and/or Registered Nurse.
  • Assists with receiving patients in the exam room, proper positioning of patients for exams, discussing exams, and preps with patients.
  • Assists in the transport of patients to and from the designated exam area.
  • Assists Technologist in recording patient history on screening questionnaire.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
