In this forward-thinking role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding critical assets, leveraging advanced AI/ML technologies, and discovering emerging tools to enhance our defense-in-depth strategies. This is a unique opportunity to transform our cybersecurity efforts, working across IT and OT environments to protect our infrastructure in new and innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Purpose: Take charge of threat analysis and response initiatives as part of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team. Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in our threat detection and mitigation strategies.
  • Optimize and Innovate Security Tools: Oversee the management and optimization of key security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and firewalls. Continuously evaluate and recommend new security products and services to ensure we stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Enhance Incident Response: Own the ongoing development and maintenance of the Incident Response Playbook, ensuring it reflects the latest advancements in technology and best practices to keep our response strategies sharp.
  • Collaborate and Empower: Coordinate with external partners for tasks such as vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Lead by example, empowering the team and partners to ensure that all security measures are proactively maintained.
  • Proactive Threat Detection: We utilize emerging technologies to continuously monitor our systems for anomalies and violations, ensuring that potential threats are swiftly identified and resolved to maintain a secure environment.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, regulations, and technologies. Use these insights to advise leadership on potential threats, ensuring that we maintain compliance with evolving policies and legal requirements.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security technology design, administration, incident response, and identity management.
  • Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including network, server, and client computing administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security administration.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and methods, including network and server security, IDS/IPS, next-gen firewalls, and cybersecurity automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven security solutions and emerging cybersecurity technologies.
