Organize and prioritize workload based on patient and unit needs, adapt activities and plans as necessary, and continuously improve organizational skills to increase work efficiency. Utilize available resources effectively, identify personal education and professional growth needs, develop plans, and seek appropriate resources to address them. Engage in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities, integrate resulting changes into practice, and take initiative in problem-solving and recommending resolutions. Maintain cooperative relationships, handle conflicts constructively, and ensure the confidentiality of patient and hospital information. Prioritize personal safety and the safety of coworkers, report hazards and unsafe practices, and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Nursing License in the state of practice, along with active BLS certification. Specialty area credentials (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) are required and must be maintained. Preferably hold a BSN degree. Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in the relevant area of specialization. Possess knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs, as demonstrated by successful completion of introductory orientation behaviors for Registered Nurse. Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collegial relationships with colleagues and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Excellent critical thinking skills to fulfill the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. Ability to focus, pay attention to detail, and plan and execute professional nursing care effectively. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Exhibit personal qualities of honesty, integrity, and compassion, inspiring and motivating others to uphold Trinity Health's philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values. Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to continuously walk and stand for at least 90% of the time. Capability to move, lift, and position patients. Effective organization and adaptability in setting and rearranging work priorities to accommodate frequent changes in tasks and projects within a potentially stressful environment.
