Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering projects, including feasibility studies and remedial designs
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure successful product scale-up through pilot and manufacturing stages
- Validate product quality, equipment sizing, and process engineering design
- Implement process control systems for real-time production monitoring
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Collaborate with customers on environmental waste treatment and troubleshooting
- Assist in design package preparation, including engineering calculations and specifications
- Conduct risk assessments for safety and regulatory compliance
- Support system operations and maintenance staff, and contribute to plans and reports
- Identify contaminant sources, manage site assessments, and conduct audits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing and environmental fields
- Expert in process engineering, improvement, optimization, and scale-up
- Proven success in product and process engineering scale-up, equipment sizing, and validation
- Extended knowledge of sustainable production practices, waste minimization, and quality enhancement
- Familiar with hazardous and industrial waste, wastewater treatment, and chemical manufacturing
- Proficiency in biological filtration systems and strong project management skills
- Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards
