Position Overview
The Client Relations Director in the Educational Staffing division is responsible for driving sales activity, managing client communications, and providing marketing support within a specified territory. This role focuses on the staffing and recruitment of educational professionals for K-12 schools, including paraprofessionals, therapists and support staff. The Director is integral in building relationships with school administrators, districts, and community stakeholders to address staffing needs and support educational outcomes. They will be responsible for revenue growth and profitability in the assigned territory, working closely with management to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ability to establish a strong referral network and strategic partnerships is key to success in this role.
Essential Job Functions
- Market Educational Staffing Services (e.g., related services, therapy, related services, permanent placement and support services) to schools, districts, and educational organizations to meet and exceed revenue targets assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key sales targets, including:
- School administrators (e.g., principals, superintendents, Director of Special Education and Pupil Services)
- District HR and staffing coordinators
- School board members
- Community education stakeholders
- Local and regional education organizations
- Conduct presentations and in-services to highlight services at school district meetings, regional conferences, and education-focused trade shows.
- Create and implement specific sales and market development plans that align with company goals and objectives.
- Provide regular feedback and updates to corporate management regarding sales activities, market trends, and client feedback.
- Represent the company within the educational community with professionalism and respect for the importance of quality educational staffing.
- Education: Business, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Licensing: Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record as per company standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in educational staffing, school administration, or educational consulting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries at all times.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to large groups of educators and administrators.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building skills and demonstrated success in collaborative environments.
- Ability to navigate diverse educational settings, from urban schools to rural districts.
- A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting quality education.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to travel frequently; company does not provide vehicles or transportation. * Company provides expense coverage for milage, flights and hotel stays*
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and navigate stairs.
- Must have visual and hearing acuity for presentations and client interactions.
- Must be able to function in various educational environments, including public and private schools, district offices, and community meetings.
- May involve exposure to allergens, crowded spaces, and varying conditions in school facilities.
