What we are looking for:

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem employee to cover areas of Queens to provide homecare to patients age 65+. Must have experience with adult population including voice, dysphagia, Parkinson's, Aphasia, and other degenerative neurological disorders.

Job Type: Per Diem

Pay: $60-$80 per visit

Requirements

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
