Job Description

We are a small but growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeking a full-time, experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our team The person we are looking for must be reliable, self-motivated, well-organized, and have previous personal injury pre-litigation experience.

This is an in-person position ; we do not offer remote work. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, which is the working hours for this position—excellent benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation/sick time, and 401k.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with Intakes and onboarding new clients.
• Provide legal support to personal injury attorneys and other paralegal staff.
• Work with clients to gather all necessary documents and information for their cases.
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes.
• Communicate with clients regularly with updates.
• Communicate with adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Gather and analyze medical records and bills.
• Prepare demands.
• Negotiate reductions with medical providers and lien holders.
• Organize and track case files.
• Calendar for all the time-sensitive deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and client-oriented focus.
• Ability to travel and maintain a consistent full-time work schedule of eight hours per day Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5 pm in person at our office on Hayden/McDowell in Scottsdale, Arizona
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Filevine.
