Job Description

Montana Resources, LLC is looking for an ELECTRICIAN to join our team. At Montana Resources, our vision is to be a safe, low cost producer of copper and molybdenum. Responsibilities

• Support for complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits.
• Maintenance of electrical systems for mine and mill equipment.
• Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution, and installation.
• Position is primarily dayshift; however, some nightshift and weekend work will be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Montana journeyman Electrician License, preferred.
• Industrial background with strong knowledge in:
  • Three phase power
  • Medium Voltage
  • PC networking
  • MCC installation and repair
  • Conduit bending and installation
• Demonstrated ability to work safely around all voltages, in and around mobile equipment, at heights and in inclement weather required.
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics preferred.
• Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations required.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Proven safe work record required.
• Team player, leadership and good interpersonal skills required.

Montana Resources operates an open pit copper and molybdenum mine in Butte, Montana. The operation comprises the Continental mine, crushers and a concentrator facility where tons of raw ore are processed into high-quality metal concentrates.
