Location:
District Wide RSU 40 is looking for a caring, and compassionate speech language pathologist to work with students grades K-6.
A successful candidate will be able to:
  • Demonstrate an ability to assess all areas of speech and language development, provide direct instruction to students, and consult with team members in a collaborative manner.
  • Develop individualized goals and Individualized Education Plans consistent with state / federal laws and regulations.
  • Provide case management for students with speech / language disabilities.
  • Implement programs in the least restrictive environment appropriate for the student.
  • Collaborate with other speech language pathologists to implement a comprehensive program at all district levels.
Qualifications / Certification Requirements:
  • Master's Degree
  • Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Criminal History Records Check (fingerprinting) approval through the Maine Department of Education
This position is full time and starting salary is $83,000.
