As a Security System Technician, you will play a pivotal role in servicing our advanced security products on customer sites, ensuring seamless operation and outstanding client satisfaction.

  • Respond promptly to trouble tickets to maintain application uptime and optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to enhance application availability and identify any system faults early.
  • Implement routine configuration changes, including user permissions and application settings.
  • Carefully document all system modifications using our digital change control tracking system.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences, detailing the deployment process.
  • Conduct thorough pre-deployment testing of all upgrades and major modifications to ensure reliability.
  • Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and significant modifications professionally.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and a robust work ethic.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems are a plus.
