Senior Database Developer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Database Developer to join their team

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL Server solutions, including T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
  • Design and implement data models and reports using Power BI.
  • Manage data integration using Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
  • Perform system analysis, design, and integration testing.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management and GitHub for source code management.
  • Ensure data quality and governance, working with tools like MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and MS Purview.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, documenting technical configurations and summarizing complex technical information.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and MS Purview - Data Catalog.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, MS Master Data Services, and SSIS.
  • Experience in developing data models and reports with Power BI and Power BI Report Builder.
  • Skill in scripting using PowerShell and Python.
  • Experience in system analysis and design.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines and artifacts.
  • Proficiency in source code management using GitHub.
  • Experience in managing data quality and data governance.
  • Proficiency in performing system and/or integration testing.
  • Competence in planning and managing software quality assurance activities.
  • Ability to document technical configurations and summarize technical information.
  • Skills in problem identification, fact establishment, data correlation, risk evaluation, and logical plan development.
