You will be part of an innovative team working on MR products.

Required Skills:

Display Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Lead related activities in display module development, qualification, and support integration to the system from development phase to mass production

  2. Author display specifications and document display test criteria and methodology for display module and system

  3. Perform testing, validation, verification, and debug for any display electrical related issues

  4. Perform display bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting of components

  5. Identify display related failures and provide solutions to mitigate the issue

  6. Design of PCBs, rigid and flexible boards.

  7. Work with internal cross-functional teams to establish display module system integration and analysis

  8. Work with supply chain teams for display module and component vendor evaluation and selection

  9. Travel 20% Internationally and domestically

  2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience

  3. 3+ years of electrical design experience in display module

  4. Experience in display electrical subsystem design, testing, and system integration

  5. Experience with electrical lab equipment for display testing

  6. Experience with display electrical interfaces standards and familiar with display or touch subsystem protocols

  7. Experience in delivering high-volume consumer products

  8. Experience with communicating with colleagues, team, and cross-functional partners

  2. In-depth understanding of LCD and OLED display technologies and display module, display panel, and display IC design

  3. Knowledge on various high-speed display electrical interfaces standards including MIPI and eDP protocol design/testing/implementation

  4. Knowledge of electrical signal integrity, simulations, display or system power delivery, and display electrical test system development

  5. Experience with display electrical subsystem design/testing/validation/implementation

  6. Experience with display module PCB/flex design, interfaces standards, display driver IC, and display backlight

  7. Experience with EMI and ESD risks and mitigation techniques

  8. Experience with electrical engineering schematic and layout tools such as Allegro

  9. Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other scripting languages

  10. Direct working experience with display vendors

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
