Pediatric Outpatient Registered Nurse

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Pediatric Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. You’ll work with neonates and provide wound care, education, and outpatient care coordination. This is a full-time role with a sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement available for qualified candidates.

As a Pediatric Outpatient Registered Nurse, you’ll be responsible for providing safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff and serve as a role model. You’ll also provide a full range of patient education to patients and family members.

  • Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
  • Assess patient's condition and nursing needs; set goals and utilize appropriate nursing actions to achieve goals
  • Provide education for patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescriptive medical treatment
  • Ensure that physician's orders are carried out
  • Administer medications and perform routine treatments
  • Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have an RN degree from a nationally accredited nursing graduate program. Bilingual English/Spanish and 3 years of directly related experience are preferred, but not required. You must also have a valid RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM and CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days.
