Camp Wicosuta

Camp Wicosuta is looking for RNs to staff our summer health center. Wicosuta is a girls' residential summer camp in Hebron, NH-- located just south of the White Mountains on crystal-clear Newfound Lake. We run a camp of 300 girls ages 7-15 and employ 170 staff. General Nurse, Medication Nurse General Nurse Responsibilities include: •Camper and (periodic) staff health care (triage, assessment, treatment) •Dispensing medication •Health related communication/coordination with parents and doctors •Medical records management •Periodic transportation of campers to MD and ER as needed Medication Nurse Responsibilities include: •Overall organization and management of camper medications-- specifically those taken on a regular basis. •Interface with local pharmacy to confirm that we receive what's expected; that meds are pre-dosed, accurate, etc. •Collaborate with parents •Package and organize all trip meds (regular and PRN) •Available to assist general nurse and the rest of the health center staff as needed (see above) Nurses at Wicosuta are active members of the camp community. We encourage involvement in camp special events, evening activities, campfires, etc. That's part of the fun Weather at camp is great-- lots of sunshine and low humidity. Daytime temperatures range from 70 degrees F to high 80s. Dates: Two Sessions: June 12-August 16 One Session: June 12-July 18
