Job Description:

  • Work shall be one hundred percent (100%) dedicated to the account related to this RFP, to work on-site as the Clinical Account Manager (CAM) to assist the Department with:
  • The day-to-day management and administration of the P&T Committee.
  • Organizing, managing, and conducting the two annual P&T Committee meetings.
  • Presenting clinical and cost information at all P&T Committee meetings.
  • Facilitating each of the P&T Committee meetings in the review of the therapeutic classes, including new drugs/products or clinical criteria as approved by the FDA, and providing recommendations to the P&T Committee and the Department for appropriate changes to the PDL.
  • Development, administration, and management of the PDL.
  • Attending any event/meeting as required by the Department, including, but not limited to, each quarterly CMC Advisory Committee meeting and DUR Board meeting, and may be requested to present a status report of the PDL at any such event/meeting;
  • May be required to visit prescribers or pharmacies at their place of business (not to exceed twenty [20] visits per year).
  • Utilization management.
  • Conduct data analytics and cost modeling.
  • Be responsible for reviewing and making clinical decisions on prior- authorization requests within the Department.
  • Work with the Department's POS Vendor and the Department's Pharmacy Team and shall be responsible for reviewing prior authorizations, data analytics, research, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Department.
Graduation/Skillset:
  • Full-time clinical pharmacist with a PharmD degree, who is licensed by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy within six (6) months of the contract award (clinical pharmacist or licensed physician).
  • We are seeking a Pharmacist who has experience in P&T committee meetings and processes, general government Rebate Management knowledge, Supplemental Rebate/PDL knowledge (Development, administration, and management of the PDL)
