At Key West Crossing Dental Associates, we are a fast-paced and growing dental practice committed to providing top-notch care in a dynamic environment. We are currently in a rebuilding phase, focusing on solutions and transparent feedback to enhance our services. Our office is dedicated to expanding our procedures and embracing new technologies, including upcoming Laser Training.

Position Overview:

Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Full-Time

Location: Key West Crossing Dental Associates, Rockville, MD

Schedule: 4 Days a Week - Monday-Thursday

We are seeking a motivated and flexible Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be a patient advocate, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. While Dentrix experience is preferred, it is not required. We value a positive attitude, eagerness to contribute to the growth of our Hygiene department, and a high level of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients
  • Assist in expanding procedures and adapting to new technologies
  • Maintain a patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • RDH license and certification
  • Some experience preferred but not required with the right attitude
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow with the team
  • Strong customer service experience and a patient-centered approach
  • Collaborative spirit with a high level of communication

Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
