Summary/Objective
The IT Administrator will be responsible for providing direct technical support across the company enterprise infrastructure. This person will respond to issues within a manner and provide resolution or escalation of issues with strong coordination and collaboration between teams. The ideal candidate for this position should be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, being highly responsible, able to handle stress, emergency work and a heavy workload. Please note this position is for a 2nd Shift
Essential Duties
-
Provide technical support in a small but fast growing and fast paced environment for local and remote operations
-
Document, manage and escalate issue traffic until problems are resolved or escalated to a higher response tier group
-
Provide support to OEM Team Center
-
Provide timely, professional and efficient technical support to Microsoft Office, LYNC/Skype for Business, SharePoint, Domain share folder and Exchange End Users
-
Administration of email servers for company-wide email including client Outlook installation, configuration and setup
-
Install, support and maintain both physical and virtual network servers, license servers, network hardware devices, middleware and software
-
Configuration and set-up of all new server systems required internally for the company’s activities
-
Setup, maintain and troubleshoot MS Windows desktop/notebook computers
-
Help setup and provide support for International Video Conference Meeting
-
Assist HR to setup IT assets for new hired Employee and resigned Employee
-
Assist Financing Department to get Quotes for IT assets (hardware & Software), fill out purchase request, track the status until receive the parts
-
Maintain inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software, printers, etc.) including documentation of all vendor activities
-
Firewall administration and overall responsibility for company IT security
-
Support and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Active Directory
-
Support and maintenance of company’s internal systems (purchased and home-grown)
-
Perform scheduled network tasks, updating anti-virus definition files, monitoring network servers, and providing internet and intranet user support, and specialized training
-
Plan, design and implement data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems
-
Work in concert with other IT support staff in a strong team-based environment
-
Maintain excellent communication with all levels management, end users and members of the information technology department
-
Take ownership of special tasks/roles as resources and circumstances permit
-
Assist in coordinating special projects including local and international network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases, and system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving with IT team members
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Network Administration or related field
-
Experience in GM & Ford Team Center preferred
-
Experience in setup, configuration, troubleshooting of windows desktop, notebook and server hardware/software
-
Experience in Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013, Exchange 2007 and 2013, Lync 2010, Skype for Business 2013, SharePoint 2013, MS SQL, Citrix
-
Strong working knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows Desktop O/S, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2012 Server, VMware
-
Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking (DNS, SMTP, DHCP) environment, Microsoft Active Directory and Network Security
-
Knowledge of networking devices (VMWare, CISCO switch, SONICWALL, printers, network shares, MFD, Audio & Video Conference equipment etc.)
-
Experience in a multi-office and multi-data center environments
-
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
-
Hands on knowledge of creating the procedures of the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software
-
Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures
-
Strong Coordinating Skills is required, able to work with global cross-discipline team members in an efficient way, able to work with various technical levels of individuals
-
Self driven and high Responsibility on work is a required
-
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks & projects at the same time is required
-
Attention to details and the ability to meet project timing is required
-
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese & English preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required

Able to attend international conference Meetings in evening or early morning

Able to travel internationally if required

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work overtime if required
