Job Description:
Position Title:
Cleaner
Organizational:
Reports to: Business Manager, Custodian, or designee.
Qualifications:
1. Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
2. Prior successful experience as a cleaner preferred.
3. Possess general knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping.
4. Ability to do relevant mathematical calculations.
5. Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law. Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.
Job Goal:
To provide a clean, safe and attractive school facility.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of school facilities as assigned.
2. Responsible for cleaning windows inside and out.
3. Keep walks, steps, and entrances free of snow, ice, and debris as necessary.
4. Clean floors using ride on or walk behind cleaning equipment.
5. Perform such other duties as assigned by Custodian, Business Manager or designee.
